When I say that I work with infants, people invariably ask what kind of mental health problems do infants have. Infants show their stress by difficulty sleeping, feeding, settling, communicating, reduced eye contact, difficulty with change or separating, slowed development etc. If anything like this is worrying you with your infant of child, I can work with you to understand them better and work on self care.

I can also assess for any developmental delays or difficulties, autism etc., work with attachment, separation anxiety, anger and sadness.

Work with young people more often than not involves the main carer and may include other family members. I may recommend a group program so that you can benefit from the support and learning of other like-minded parents with my guidance and the wisdom of the authors of programs such as Circle of Security and Tuning Into Kids.
